‘Go and do something’: Pundit backs 25-year-old Celtic player to follow Van Dijk’s footsteps and earn PL move

Celtic have plenty of talent in their squad that could be sold for millions of pounds if they choose to do so.

Over the past two seasons, standout players like Matt O’Riley, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Cameron Carter-Vickers have all been connected with departures from Celtic or, at the very least, moves to other teams at various points.

Reo Hatate urged to follow Virgil van Dijk’s model

Reo Hatate, a Japanese midfielder, is one player whose future has, at least temporarily, been put to rest.

The fans reacted with jubilation as the Celtic star signed a new five-year contract with the organization.

Over the summer, Spurs were rumored to be interested in Hatate, but that desire now seems to have subsided. Journalist Mark Guidi responded when asked if Hatate might play for a team like Spurs, “He needs to start producing again on the European stage.”

Guidi remarked, “Yeah, I could see him being able to play,” on “The Go Radio Football Show.” When you look at some of the players, if he continues to advance at this rate, he needs to go and do things like, for instance, go and establish a name for himself on Wednesday night.

Do something now. Victor Wanyama and Virgil van Dijk experienced this. They traveled to Europe and accomplished something very exceptional, which increased their value and improved their reputations.

“Hatate is a very skilled player at this level, as we all know. He can rule games domestically in Scotland.

Hatate is a true professional athlete. The Japanese international has dominated the domestic game, and Celtic supporters have observed this for almost two seasons.

Additionally, he demonstrated last season that he can hang with the big boys with some standout performances in the Champions League against teams like Real Madrid and RB Leipzig.

His performance this year, though, appeared to suffer as rumors about his impending future spread. The Celtics supporters will be hoping he returns to his best now that he has signed a new contract.

Because they will need him to be at his best if they want to see their club defeat Lazio on Wednesday night.
