Several Spurs players now love playing with 25-year-old; he’s noticeably matured under Postecoglou
Tottenham Hotspur’s defenders have all been left reassured by the presence of Cristian Romero alongside them, with the centre-back visibly maturing since being promoted by Ange Postecoglou.
According to a report from The Athletic, there is a suspicion that the Argentine is more involved with the team than ever before.
The season has gotten off to a fantastic start for Cristian Romero. Of course, there has never been any question about his abilities. However, it seemed that some Tottenham supporters would not have objected to his being sold following the 2017–18 campaign.
Romero’s performance was extremely bad compared to his debut season in North London. And given how talented he had still been for Argentina, it was disappointing that he did not perform at that level for Tottenham.

Ange Postecoglou’s entry, though, seems to have significantly altered Romero’s situation. The 25-year-old has been elevated by the Spurs manager to serve as James Maddison’s co-vice captain.
And what would have seemed like a risk has become a brilliant move. Romero has excelled in his leadership role, according to The Athletic.
And as a defender, he is no longer a liability.According to The Athletic, Romero gives comfort to Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Porro, Micky van de Ven, and Destiny Udogie. The four of them have faith that he will protect them.
It is a significant success story in Tottenham’s incredible season debut. Vicario, van de Ven, and Udogie have yet to make their Premier League debuts prior to this season, which is amazing to think about now.
Pedro Porro, meanwhile, had struggled for the majority of his first few months with the team. The fact that they have collaborated so successfully over the past few weeks speaks volumes.
And undoubtedly, a lot of people would credit Cristian Romero’s leadership and abilities for that.
