‘I hate to say’: Sutton 100% right about big Daniel Levy decision at Tottenham

Chris Sutton has noted that he was absolutely right about Ange Postecoglou when Daniel Levy decided to bring him from Celtic to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023.

In the summer of 2023, Tottenham Hotspur made the decision to hire Ange Postecoglou as their new manager and acquired him from Celtic.

Postecoglou enjoyed great success while at Celtic.

With the Hoops, the 58-year-old won the Scottish Premiership twice, the Scottish Cup once, and the Scottish League Cup twice.

Under Postecoglou, Tottenham has had a great start to the year.

Spurs are winning games while playing fantastic football.

With 10 points from four games, Tottenham is now ranked second in the Premier League, just two points behind leader and reigning champion Manchester City.

Praise for Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou

When Spurs chairman Daniel Levy decided to bring Postecoglou to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, former Chelsea and Celtic striker Chris Sutton commented that he was correct about Postecoglou and the influence that he would make at Tottenham.

“I hate to say ‘I told you so,’ but I did tell everyone how good Tottenham would be to watch under Ange Postecoglou,” Sutton said on BBC Sport when forecasting a 3-0 victory for Tottenham against Sheffield United in the Premier League this next weekend.

I enjoy watching “Angeball,” and this season, Spurs have played some of the league’s best football while also producing some successful outcomes.

Ange Postecoglou a good fit for Tottenham Hotspur

Ange Postecoglou, in our opinion, is a perfect fit for Tottenham Hotspur. Although it is still early and we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves, we must admit that it has been fantastic thus far. Spurs supporters are adoring Postecoglou’s football because it is so entertaining to watch. Tottenham won’t be one of the clubs vying for the Premier League championship this year, but the North London club will undoubtedly contend for a top-four finish.

Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso now react after news coming out of Tottenham yesterday

Tottenham Hotspur fans were treated to some great news yesterday – Rodrigo Bentancur was spotted back on the training pitch.

The Uruguayan suffered a serious knee injury in February this year and has been out of action since. He’s still a little while away, but seeing him back on the pitches at Hotspur Way is a fantastic sight for Spurs fans.

Here’s how Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso reacted to the news.

Rodrigo Bentancur spotted back in Tottenham’s training ground

Rodrigo Bentancur’s injury was a major factor in Tottenham’s poor performance in the second half of the previous campaign.

The 26-year-old, who transferred from Juventus to Spurs in January of last year, is undoubtedly the team’s top midfielder. When he was well, he was brilliant, therefore his absence was very detrimental to them.

Although Yves Bissouma has done a fantastic job of filling his shoes this year, Bentancur’s return to full health will make Tottenham a much stronger team.

Before engaging in individual exercises yesterday, the Uruguayan warmed up with the team. Although he isn’t yet physically prepared to participate in a full session, this is a significant improvement.

Bentancur celebrated his return to the practice fields yesterday by posting on Instagram. He was seen with several of his South American friends, and he accompanied the photo with a few hourglass emojis, indicating that he will soon be returning.

Emerson Royal and Giovani Lo Celso both responded with heart emojis in response to Cuti Romero’s “Toroooooooooooosss” comment on the post.

For supporters of Tottenham, this is huge news.

Even if Bentancur won’t be eligible for selection for another month or so, the fact that he’s back on the practice fields is fantastic news for Spurs supporters.

Under Antonio Conte, the Uruguayan was one of the club’s top players. He was terrific, and we believe Ange Postecoglou will make him much better.

When Bantancur returns, it will be intriguing to see what role he will be assigned.
