Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs have five-star recruiting day for Saturday’s spring practice

Top prospects in Athens continue to give the national powerhouse program high marks.

It was another exciting day on the recruiting front on the Georgia campus, as Kirby Smart and his staff hosted a star-studded group of prospects for a spring practice.

Five-stars, Top247 prospects and coveted recruits in the 2025 and 2026 cycles flocked to Athens, and Smart and the Bulldogs are going to have a great chance to sign quite a few.

It was a group that starts with the top three uncommitted five-stars in the state in 247Sports’ No. 1 defensive lineman Elijah Griffin, 247Sports’ No. 1 linebacker Zayden Walker and 247Sports’ No. 2 offensive tackle Josh Petty.

The Bulldogs are the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite for Griffin as they battle Clemson, Miami, South Carolina and USC among others. Walker has a keen eye on the Bulldogs, Miami, the Gamecocks and a few others.

Petty is still considering quite a several schools including Clemson, Auburn, Tennessee, Stanford, Georgia Tech and Florida State.

“Last visit to Georgia was great,” Petty said.
