£100,000-a-week Tottenham player now wants to leave
Giovani Lo Celso now wants to leave Tottenham – and an exit to Galatasaray could still materialise despite the English transfer window shutting last week.
That is according to Yeni Asir in Turkey.
So, what is the latest on Giovani Lo Celso at Tottenham? Let’s take a look…
Lo Celso wants to leave Tottenham
Well – according to Yeni Asir – Galatasaray have made a move for the Argentina international.
The Turkish news outlet believe Lo Celso is keen to leave N17 and make the move to Galatasaray due to a lack of playing time under Ange Postecoglou.
The South American has only made four Premier League starts for Spurs so far this season.
Galatasaray still has until Friday, February 9th to sign the player for £100,000-per-week, as the Turkish transfer window is still open.
As Carlos Vinicius and Serge Aurier relocate to Turkey, Okan Buruk has already signed two players who will be familiar to Tottenham supporters. Lo Celso is now being pursued by Galatasaray as they look to win the Süper Lig.
The Argentine, who recently gave Cristian Romero high accolades, has made ten appearances in the Premier League this year, tallying two goals and dishing out two assists.
Lo Celso would surely have no trouble settling in at Galatasaray
For some reason, the Turkish giants seem intent on reconstructing one of the worst Tottenham sides in recent memory.
Not only do Galatasaray already own the aforementioned Aurier and Vinicius, but Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez also currently play their football at the RAMS Park.
Therefore, Lo Celso should have no problem settling in at Galatasaray if a move does materialise before Friday – there are a number of familiar faces to help him acclimatise.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as the Tottenham No.18 could leave north London this week if Yeni Asir are to be trusted.
