Tottenham quoted £21.5m for ‘electric’ left-footer likened to Lionel Messi
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with FC Copenhagen talent Roony Bardghji in recent weeks.
Spurs are one of several top European clubs eyeing the 18-year-old winger, Danish outlet BT claimed in December.
As of right now, Sky Sports News has offered an update on Bardghji’s future.
The story states that three Premier League clubs have made preliminary inquiries about signing the player, although it makes no mention of Tottenham.
Bardghji is in the last two years of his contract, but he isn’t signing a new one with Copenhagen, citing the report.
The Danish powerhouses are aware that in order to get a decent transfer fee, they will need to sell Bardghji as soon as possible.
Copenhagen apparently wants to part ways with the Sweden Under-21 star for €25 million, or about £21.5 million.

Tottenham could do with bolstering their ranks on the left side of attack in the January transfer window.
Both Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic are out injured. Indeed, the latter probably won’t play for the club again, according to Ange Postecoglou.
If Spurs are specifically after someone who can hit the ground running in the first-team, then Bardghji may not fit the bill just yet.
He’s still quite raw and would need some time to get up to speed in the Premier League.

In 2021, Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout released a scouting report on Bardghji, stating that he had “world-class” potential with a score of ten out of ten.
Kulig called the left-footer “extremely dangerous on the counter thanks to his electric pace and acceleration” and compared him to Lionel Messi.
