Green Bay Packers: Matt LaFleur Releases Statement About Joe Barry’s Future Following Loss To Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Green Bay Packers suffered another brutal loss on Sunday. This time it came at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After winning three straight contests against the Los Angeles Chargers, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs, the Packers have stumbled twice.
Sitting at 6-8, the Packers’ playoff chances took a major hit in the form of a 34-20 loss to Tampa Bay. The defense, once again, was a problem area against a Baker Mayfield led offense. Following the game, Matt LaFleur commented on Defensive Coordinator Joe Barry’s future in Green Bay.

Baker Mayfield made history at Lambeau Field by being the first visiting quarterback to ever have a perfect Passer Rating of 158.3, according to CBS Sports.
With no interceptions, Mayfield finished 22 of 28 throws for 381 yards and four touchdowns. Mayfield had one of his greatest performances to date.
With this victory, the Bucs raise their record to 7-7 and maintain their lead in the NFC South. The Packers, who held the wild card slot coming into today, are now outsiders with three games remaining. It will be fascinating to observe whether Green Bay makes any adjustments following this defeat.
