Australia U20 triumphed over the Junior Springboks 29-24, staging an emphatic second-half comeback at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the Rugby Championship U20.
South Africa U20 dominated the opening, yet the Australians, undeterred, clawed back with four tries in the latter half, despite several being disallowed by TMO.
Notable efforts included a slick try by Xavier Rubens and a powerful run by Lipina Ata.
Although the Springboks nearly came back during the closing minutes, the resilient Wallabies’ relentless attack ultimately prevailed, leaving the opposition in shock after an impressive first half.
