NCAA Reacts to Tim Tebow’s Message Ahead of Florida vs. Houston National Championship

The anticipation is high for Monday night’s Men’s NCAA Tournament national championship game between the Florida Gators and the Houston Cougars, following the thrilling Final Four matchups on Saturday

Houston, who trailed by nine with just two minutes left and six with a little over 30 seconds remaining, managed to mount an incredible comeback against the Duke Blue Devils-many people’s pick as the title favorite.

On the other hand, Florida continues to ride the wave of Walter Clayton Jr., who has scored 30-plus points in each of the last two games.

Ahead of the championship clash, former Gators legend Tim Tebow, who knows a thing or two about winning national titles, sent a clear message asking where he could find a Clayton Jr. jersey before Monday night’s game. The NCAA reacted to Tebow’s message just hours before the matchup.

Does anyone know where I can find a Walter Clayton jersey for the… Chompionship?” Tebow posted.

The NCAA responded, “Walter Clayton Jr. is turning everyone into a believer

Clayton Jr. scored 34 points against Auburn in the semifinal matchup, and prior to that, he dropped 30 in the Elite Eight against Texas Tech. More impressively, he’s been scoring in bunches during the final minutes of these NCAA Tournament games, and his clutch gene has been superior to any other player in March. This has all led to the Gators earning a spot in the national title game.

However, this will be their biggest test yet. Houston boasts the No. 1 ranked defense in the country and is also one of the most experienced teams in the nation, making this a matchup that could truly go either way. The betting line reflects that uncertainty.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Florida is a slight one-point favorite over Houston, with 57% of bets placed on the Gators and 43% backing the Cougars.
