Kaizer Chiefs are favourites to sign a few PSL stars. The Glamour Boy’s recently lost 1-0 to the Golden Arrows.

Both are top Bafana prospects and according to reports, could be in Kaizer Chiefs colours by the end of January.

Appollis update

AmaKhosi are determined to bring Polokwane star Appollis to Soweto, so much so that they recently increased their transfer budget by R40 million (from R60 million to R100 million) to increase their odds of cementing a deal.

“They know that without a proper budget, they won’t get the right players that they want for the team to do well and change the fortunes. That’s why they are believed to be considering raising the current budget to R100m,” a source confirmed.

According to reports, Kaizer Chiefs are ready to beat any offers Orlando Pirates submit.

Kwayiba update

Bafana midfielder Kwayiba is another hot commodity in the PSL, and one wanted by Kaizer Chiefs, who are willing to offer Christian Saile plus cash to lure the 24-year-old.

“Chiefs have shown interest and he could be part of the deals involving two clubs. With Saile expected to move to Chippa from Chiefs, there could be a swap deal if all goes according to plan,” an anonymous source confirmed.

Saile has failed to impress under Nasreddine Nabi and is, according to reports, ready for a new chapter:

“It’s understood the player [Saile] is keen for a fresh start and is open to moving to Gqeberha where he will work with coaches Thabo September and Mabhudi Khenyeza, who joined the Chili Boys following Kwanele Kopo’s exit.”
