There’s been plenty of prognosticating about way-too-early Top 25 rankings, but less about way-too-early All-American teams. ESPN’s Chris Low put together a list of his All-Americans for 2025.

Alabama had a pair of second-team All-Americans this season, but didn’t land a player on the first team. Low expects Alabama to get back to first-team All-American status in 2025 with two players making his list.

The first should come as no surprise with a leap expected for rising sophomore WR Ryan Williams. As just a 17-year-old freshman, Williams led Alabama with 865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Williams fizzled out a bit over the second-half of his freshman campaign following a torrid start to his rookie season. He caught six passes for 177 yards and the game-winning touchdown in Alabama’s win over Georgia in September.

Joining Williams on the first-team is DL LT Overton. Overton is the Bandit in Alabama’s defensive scheme and had an impressive season in 2024, his first in Tuscaloosa after transferring from Texas A&M. Overton led Alabama with nine QB hurries and had one of the highest pass-rushing win rates in the SEC.

Overton struggled with finishing plays, but he lived in the opposing backfield last season. He probably would have been a second or third round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft but chose to come back for his senior season at Alabama with hopes of improving his ability to finish plays.

Overton could be in line for a monster season and is one of the reasons many are bullish on what Alabama’s defense might look like next year.

Rising junior Kadyn Proctor was listed as a second-team OT behind Utah’s Spencer Fano and Miami’s Francis Mauigoa.

Proctor figures to be one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft cycle. He took a sizable leap from his freshman to sophomore seasons despite battling a shoulder injury for the entirety of the 2024 campaign. If he can take another leap as a junior, he could be an All-American and the anchor of the Tide’s offensive line.
