Ethan Hooker is the most likely to have a breakthrough 2025 season for the Springboks among a group of promising players, according to readers.
The 21-year-old, who has starred at centre and wing for the Sharks over the past two seasons, received 33% of the votes in an SARugbymag.co.za poll.
Lions outside centre Henco van Wyk was next with 20% followed by David Kriel (12%), who has impressed for the Vodacom Bulls in both the No 12 and 13 jerseys, and DHL Stormers wing Suleiman Hartzenberg (11%).
The two forwards on the list, Bulls utility Cobus Wiese and Lions prop Asenathi Ntlabakanye, garnered 7% and 5% of the votes respectively.
