‘It’s disappointing’: Klopp says Liverpool player has suffered injury set-back, will miss Spurs game

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Stefan Bajcetic has suffered a minor injury setback.

Bajcetic, who had been absent since March, joined the team last week. The 18-year-old appears destined for yet another stint on the sidelines after not being seen in training yesterday.

During his press conference before Tottenham Hotspur this morning, Klopp reaffirmed as much.

The Liverpool manager stated that Stefan “had a little, little, little, little setback.” The issue is that we must use extreme caution. When you are six months out, it is only a minor calf issue.

“It’s disappointing for him and for us both, but because he received another, we must temporarily restrain him. Conor [Bradley] and Thiago [Alcantara] are both still out. That, I believe, is it.
