Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is a target for Barcelona ahead of the January transfer window
Barcelona may still explore signing Giovani Lo Celso from Tottenham Hotspur in the forthcoming January transfer window, according to Spanish outlet SPORT, even though the summer transfer window is over.
Although it has been said that the Argentine did not leave Tottenham during the summer, there is rising hope for a transfer during the January transfer window. Spurs, though, want €15 million for his transfer.
This curiosity is a result of Barcelona manager Xavi’s perception of the former Villarreal midfielder as the perfect complement to his tactical ideas.
Lo Celso is yet to be given a starting spot in a Premier League game this season, despite impressing his manager, Ange Postecoglou, throughout the preseason.
The South American’s place in the starting lineup has changed as a result of his outstanding performances for the Lilywhites this year. The former Leicester City player has established himself rapidly, participating in seven games this season with two goals and four assists.
