AMAKHOSI’S INTEREST IN APPOLLIS ISN’T DEAD

According to an insider source at SoccerLaduma, Chiefs boss Nasreddine Nabi is demanding that his board sanctions a move for Polokwane and Bafana winger Oswin Appollis in the January transfer window. Amakhosi tried in vain to secure the 23-year-old’s services during the winter window.

“The coach had seen his games on tape and followed him in (scouting) reports. Nabi was happy and that’s why there were talks with Polokwane City for the player. Now he has seen him in action for both club and country and he demands for him to be signed in January.”

Chivaviro’s transition to Kaizer Chiefs from Marumo Gallants has not been smooth. Last season, he scored an impressive 17 goals in 30 matches for Gallants, but adapting to the pressure at Chiefs has posed challenges. Despite these struggles, Chivaviro has shown signs of resurgence this season, netting three goals in just four matches.
