KAIZER CHIEFS COACHES TRAVEL TO FNB

While Amakhosi decided to keep it all under wraps, Angolan club Bravos Do Maquis revealed they played a friendly match against Kaizer Chiefs on Monday, with the match ending 1-1 at the FNB Stadium.

NO STELLENBOSCH STAR FOR KAIZER CHIEFS

Betway Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs did not enjoy a good end to July. The 4-0 loss to Young Africans has been followed by a transfer rejection from Stellenbosch FC.

According to the leading local reporter Lorenz Kohler, the Glamour Boys tabled an offer for Stellies’ 27-year-old left-back Basadien, only for the Winelands club to say no. The report says Kazier Chiefs have been asked to pay a steep fee.

“iDiski Times understands Stellies have issued an exorbitant asking price to be met for the consideration of an immediate sale in the current window,” the report said.

“Basadien, who has been on the fringes of recent Bafana Bafana squad selections, has featured 65 times for the club, scoring once, registering 10 assists in the process,” the report added.
