Tottenham’s transfer plans are ready to explode further into life with a potential bid coming for one of Europe’s most exciting talents.

Spurs have already moved in the summer window to sign one of the top young talents in England by spending around £40m on Archie Gray from Leeds.

But Ange Postecoglou wants even more and after just missing out on the top four last season, the Spurs boss is desperate to see his squad strengthened for this term.

Indeed, reports over in France are suggesting Bayern Munich have made a bid for one of Tottenham’s top targets.

According to French outletL’Equipe, Rennes have rejected an offer from Bayern of around £31m for their star youngster, Desire Doue.

And the report now claims that while Bayern hold strong interest, the move from the German side could spark Tottenham, PSG and Chelsea into action.

As we already know, Tottenham are bid admirers of Doue.

Indeed, this weekend it has been claimed that Tottenham are the most likely club out of all the English sides to land Doue.

Lauded as a ‘sensational‘ young prospect by journalist Ben Jacobs, Doue has quickly emerged as one of the top young players in Europe.

Quite whether Tottenham can fend off the interest of such giants of the game like those mentioned here, remains to be seen.

Spurs, though, have been a good place for young players in recent times and the signing of Archie Gray shows a desire to go for young players.

Doue, then, could well be tempted by Premier League football and London.
