Former Player Makes A Bold Prediction About Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves were confident heading into the Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.

Having just knocked off the reigning NBA Champions, the Timberwolves seemed poised to beat the Mavericks easily in this series.

However, after blowing leads in the fourth quarter of their first three games, the Timberwolves quickly found themselves with their backs against the wall, down 3-0.

They did win Game 4 in Dallas, giving them life to come back to Minnesota to try and win Game 5.

No team has come back from a 3-0 deficit in a series in NBA history.

Can this Timberwolves team be the one to get it done?

Channing Frye certainly believes so, as he highlighted in a recent appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio.

“If Minnesota wins this next game, I think Minnesota wins the whole series,” Frye said.

Momentum is a big deal in any sport, but especially in the NBA.

Despite the Mavericks’ three-game lead, Frye thinks the Timberwolves can win this series if they can maintain their momentum after Game 4 and win Game 5 at home.

The Mavericks are a formidable foe for any team since they feature two formidable players in Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

The Timberwolves lost the first three games of the series in part because it’s hard to stop both of them on any given night.

The Timberwolves do, however, have some stars of their own: Rudy Gobert and Karl Anthony-Towns are both playing well right now, while Anthony Edwards is proving that he is the genuine deal.
