In late hour during the resort’s poolside foam event, a tragic incident occurred at Breathless Punta Cana Resort. Based on multiple firsthand guest reports shared on Tripadvisor, a guest was electrocuted while exiting the pool. One user detailed:

“It was a foam party at the pool. … A guest touched the rigging system while coming out of the pool and got shocked.”

They explained that the setup — electrical cords and lighting rigging — came into unsafe contact with the water. Despite the seriously injured guest, medical response was delayed; reportedly, no on‑site medical team or AED was readily available, and it took an ambulance nearly 40 minutes to arrive. Tragically, this delay resulted in a fatality.

Since then, the resort has not issued a public statement acknowledging the incident. However, consistent guest accounts strongly suggest that a preventable safety failure led to one confirmed death during the All‑White pool event.
