The Arkansas Razorbacks had quite a successful season under the leadership of head coach John Calipari.

Calipari and his staff dealt with injury woes throughout the season, but the legendary college basketball coach was still able to lead Arkansas to the Sweet 16 in his first season with the program.

The Razorbacks were led by Adou Thiero, Johnell Davis and D.J. Wagner for much of the season. They also received great contributions from freshman Karter Knox.

Following his first year with the program, Knox announced his decision to declare for the 2025 NBA Draft

Knox sent a message to the coaching staff and his supporters after announcing his decision.

“Dear Hog Nation,” Knox said. “I want to thank you for the love and support this season. The journey has been a learning experience for me and my teammates, and for that I am grateful.

“To my family: Your unwavering support means everything. I wouldn’t be here without your love, sacrifices, and encouragement every step of the way.

I’m excited to announce that I have decided to go through the 2025 NBA Draft process while maintaining my college eligibility. Love, Karter Knox.”

John Calipari’s son, Brad Calipari, commented on Knox’s post with a red heart and a teary-eyed emoji.

Brad Calipari is an assistant coach and Director of On-Court Player Development for the Razorbacks. He also spent time as a graduate assistant at Kentucky under John Calipari during his tenure with the Wildcats.
