Wrexham’s Las Vegas promotion party was put on hold for an hour – after the players reportedly found themselves stuck in a lift.
Phil Parkinson’s side returned to Sin City for what has now become their traditional end-of-season party, after sealing their place in the Championship for the first time in 43 years, courtesy of a historic third straight promotion.
Again took centre-stage during the celebrations at the Racecourse Ground last month, with Rob McElhenney seen toasting the decisive win over Charlton Athletic alongside fellow co-owner Ryan Reynolds, whose wife Blake Lively was also in attendance.

According to The Sun, the squad flew by private jet on Thursday, kicking off the celebrations with a pool party, before then heading to the iconic Bellagio Hotel and then on to to Hakkasan Nightclub.
Having been drinking all day, it’s reported some members of the team got over-excited when they got in the lift to take them up to the entrance of the club on the fourth floor, with some jumping up and down.
It’s claimed the lift then broke down, with firefighters taking an hour to get them out.
After being released, they were then treated to one of the best tables in the house, with onlookers claiming the players tipped their waitress £3,000.

Wrexham manager Parkinson isn’t in attendance, and is instead likely to be plotting the club’s assault on the second tier, where they will come up against fellow Welsh side Swansea, along with ex-Premier League clubs Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town.
Parkinson has previously said the incentive of the trip has helped drive his players to success, and joked he didn’t want to know anything about what the boys were getting up to.
“They deserve the trip,” he told BBC Sport Wales.

“That’s a good target as well during the season, not just getting promotion and what it means to everybody.
“Having that group together next week [in Vegas] will be amazing.
“I’ll be turning my phone off. I just want a message when they’re all back in the country in one piece and that’s all I need to know.”
