Transfer guard Rylen Griffin Commit Aggies

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Texas A&M head men’s basketball coach Bucky McMillan continues to add to his roster, adding former Kansas and Alabama guard Rylen Griffin.

Griffin is a 6-6 Richardson High School graduate who started in 20 of 33 games played for the Jayhawks last season. He averaged 6.3 points per game with 41 three-pointers made (third most on the team).

In the 2023-24 season at Alabama, Griffin averaged 11.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 39.2% from three and 45.4% from the field.

Griffin is the ninth transfer to join McMillan’s team this offseason and the seventh from a Power Five school. The Aggies’ roster is now up to 11 players.
