Crvena Zvezda Reject €14,000 Euro League Fined For Play-In violations

EuroLeague fined Partizan €25,000 and Crvena Zvezda €14,000 for fan misconduct, with Crvena Zvezda’s GM Nemanja Vasiljevic receiving an €8,000 fine for disrespecting officials.

EuroLeague has announced the following disciplinary decisions related to incidents during the 2024-25 EuroLeague Round 34 and the Play-In Showdown Game B between Crvena Zvezda and Bayern:

Round 34:

  • Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade has been fined €25,000 for fan behavior, including throwing objects onto the court and offensive chants during the Partizan – Real Madrid game.

    This is in violation of Articles 29.2.f) and 29.2.g) of the EuroLeague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

Play-In Showdown Game B:

  • Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade has been fined €14,000 for offensive fan chants and object throwing onto the court during the game against FC Bayern Munich.

    This also falls under Articles 29.2.f) and 29.2.g) of the EuroLeague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

  • Mr. Nemanja Vasiljevic, General Manager of Crvena Zvezda, has been fined €8,000 for disrespectful conduct toward the officiating crew during the same game, under Article 27.2.b) of the EuroLeague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

After the overtime loss against Bayern, Zvezda coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos and executives criticized referees and their decisions in the game’s dying seconds.
