Kaizer to kick off contract talks

Kaizer Chiefs’ lacklustre performance deserved to be punished as pressure continues to mount on Nasreddine Nabi.

Like every AmaKhosi supporter, Two-time PSL winner Modise was not impressed by Kaizer Chiefs’ attitude, saying, “I have always said, it is the players.”
“It all boils down to the players. Look at the Magesi team and you can see the players fighting, right? But then you look at Kaizer Chiefs – when it is tough, where do you see the players fighting?
“Look at the goals that the conceded, you find [Inacio Miguel] all the way out there in the left-back position. Where are the rest of the players? Why is the defence so open?
“The secong goal, you find [Edmilson] Dove making that unnecessary tackle. So, those are individual mistakes and that is what I am saying, that when it gets tough, the tough get going. What is the attitude to be able to fight? It doesn’t matter who the coach is,” the former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder concluded.
