When he went down with an injury, the team was struggling with a 0-5 SEC record and a five-game losing streak. Though his playing time may be reduced in March Madness, his NBA Draft prospects remain compelling.

Before his injury, he was projected as a potential lottery pick, thanks to his strong pick-and-roll playmaking and reliable perimeter shooting skills that are highly valued at the next level. A strong showing in the NCAA Tournament could solidify his draft stock.

At just 18 years old, Fland has already displayed maturity beyond his years, particularly regarding his financial awareness and long-term aspirations. “You have to grow up fast in this life, especially with money,” he noted. “People need to be taught financial literacy at a young age.”
