Tottenham Hotspur face disappointment in their quest to bring Fabio Paratici back to the club.

Tottenham Hotspur’s previous managing director of football is set to be available again following a suspension that lasted up until this summer.

Now, Paratici looks set to return to football and whilst the North London club are fighting to bring him back, his next move already looks to be decided.

Fabio Paratici agrees to become AC Milan’s sporting director

Fabio Paratici has agreed to become AC Milan’s next sporting director and snubbing a potential return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, sources have told Graeme Bailey – chief correspondent at TBR Football.

Daniel Levy was looking to bring him back perhaps in a similar role to what Luis Campos is currently doing with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain

The Tottenham chairman has huge respect for the 52-year-old and the work he did for the North London club during his two years as sporting director.

But his future now looks to be in his home country of Italy with Milan close to finalising his move to the San Siro as they look to re-establish themselves as one of Europe’s biggest clubs.

The Italian giants also had Andrea Berta on their list of targets for the job, however, the Italian has agreed to take charge at Arsenal.
