‘Could still leave’: There are five Tottenham players who remain at risk of getting the chop this summer

Tottenham Hotspur have plenty of business to tend to this summer as they look to finalise a number of incomings and outgoings.

Spurs have only made one major signing so far in the shape of Archie Gray, while there are a number of players who still need to leave the club.

Indeed, Spurs’ squad is rather bloated at the moment, and there’s plenty of deadwood that needs to be chopped.

Speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Dean Jones has been discussing Tottenham’s transfer plans, and he says that there are still five players who could leave the club this summer.

Spurs could sanction five more departures

Jones shared what he knows about Tottenham’s plans.

“There are played who could be going out of the club. Lo Celso will be going, Emerson Royal could go, Reguilon, Bryan Gil, Oliver Skipp, there are plenty of names who could still leave the club,” Jones said.

Tottenham could spend big this summer

Tottenham may still be able to spend a massive amount this summer.

These five departure could raise a fair bit of cash, and there should still be a bit of money left over from the Harry Kane deal last summer.

If Spurs do manage to shift all five of these players on a permanent basis then there should be plenty of cash in the kitty this summer, and we could see some exciting movement on the incoming front.

Of course, selling all of these players for decent fees is easier said than done. After all, they’re on the chopping block for a reason and their contract situations are less than ideal as a selling club.

Emerson Royal to AC Milan is the only real concrete rumour regarding the aforementioned players at the moment.

There’s just over a month left of the transfer window, and Spurs still have a lot of work to do.
