Like we said, we need to mix it up and highlight some different teams, so why not this 18-1 price on Cleveland to emerge as the AFC’s top regular-season team?
The AFC North is arguably the hardest division in football, but in such a scenario, the Browns are here because of it and because of those grueling matchups that up the quality of their own football play.
Cleveland ended last season on a tear, and that was with a 40-year old Joe Flacco throwing the football. This team is built right: with an elite offensive and defensive line, strong pass-catchers, and a deep and talented defense.
Not to mention, star RB Nick Chubb will be back to power the running game.
Deshaun Watson needs to return to the Houston Texans version we saw, and with Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku leading the way as his options in the passing game, there’s obvious room here for a big season.
The Browns were just two games back from the AFC’s best record last season, and that was with a bevy of injuries. This is quietly one of the deepest teams in football, we should probably stop sleeping on them.

Let’s go with a dramatic 180 on our read of the NFC South simply for the sake of saying we’ve done it. We have been higher on the prices on Tampa than Atlanta thus far, but we should humor the Falcons for a moment.
Going in Atlanta’s favor by far is that they come into this season with the easiest strength of schedule of anyone in the NFL, by a pretty sizable margin too.
That is mostly built by their division. New Orleans and Carolina both figure to be among the league’s worst teams, and much of the betting market isn’t convinced in Baker Mayfield for the Buccaneers.
Let’s say Kirk Cousins comes back better than ever after his injury, and this new coaching staff finally figures out a way to unlock the trio of Kyle Pitts, Drake London and Bijan Robinson. It’s certainly possible this offense could explode.
With their easy schedule, they could pile up wins while teams like the Niners and Eagles have a few harder teams to get through that might negatively impact their chances at home-field advantage.
