Good News: ‘Details are finalize’ Another Sheffield Wednesday Transfer In Imminent

James Beadle’s contract is almost finalized, meaning Sheffield Wednesday is getting close to making their seventh summer signing.
The Owls have had a busy few weeks in terms of transfers, as the team has confirmed the arrival of six new players, all of whom are permanent, as Danny Röhl attempts to assemble his team ahead of their preseason excursions to Germany and St. George’s Park.
In addition, important players like Josh Windass, Liam Palmer, Dominic Iorfa, Barry Bannan, and Josh Windass have all been awarded new contracts, and the excitement among Hillsborough supporters for the upcoming campaign is only building.

Although Beadle’s loan move from Brighton & Hove Albion is virtually complete, Röhl is far from done as work continues behind the scenes to maintain increasing their ranks. The Star understands that signing number seven is now approaching.

The final details are now being worked out, and it’s anticipated that everything will be resolved in the next day or so.

The 19-year-old would join Sal Bibbo’s goalkeeping staff as the second goalkeeper of the summer, following the acquisition of seasoned shot-stopper Ben Hamer. The pair would be joined by fellow youngster Jack Hall, who signed a new contract this week, and Pierce Charles, an Owls academy graduate.

Given that Beadle is expected to start at number one and Hamer at number two, it is unclear if Charles or Hall will be sent out on loan this season in order to get more consistent playing time. However, there will be plenty of time for outgoings once Röhl has almost finished finalizing those coming in.

After making his debut in January, the England youth international was a constant in the Wednesday lineup last season and was instrumental in guiding the team to safety and the preservation of their Championship standing.
