Justin Timberlake Sells Sprawling 127-Acre Property in Tennessee for $8 Million

The “Mirrors” singer let go of the lush parcel of land just weeks before his DWI arrest on June 18

With all formality, Justin Timberlake has bid farewell to a sizable tract of land in Tennessee.

The forty-three-year-old singer of “Mirrors” sold his approximately 127-acre Franklin, Tennessee, property for $8 million. According to the listing, it’s tucked away “less than half a mile” from the quiet community of Leipers Fork and about 45 minutes outside of Nashville.

Not only does the property provide breathtaking vistas of Leipers Creek Valley, but it also has 50 acres of pastures and wildlife food plots. On-site features include footpaths, spring creeks, and a fishing pond.

The listing was held by Tom Sullivan of Covey Rise Properties.

Timberlake — who is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour — officially let go of the sprawling plot on May 30, according to property records.

The Memphis native reportedly purchased the land in 2015 from local philanthropist and preservationist Aubrey Preston, according to The Tennessean.

Nearly a year after Timberlake’s purchase, Preston told the outlet that he and the Grammy winner have a lot in common when it comes to their mutual admiration for their home state.

“Both of us share that love of Tennessee and enjoyed how we grew up, on land,” Preston said at the time. “We want to do our part to save that for future generations, and our kids. That’s how we got to know each other.”

The sale came just a few weeks before Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor, N.Y. for allegedly driving while intoxicated on June 18.

He was driving to a friend’s house from the American Hotel when he was pulled over by a Sag Harbor police officer. The singer was then charged with one count of DWI and two citations — one for running a stop sign and one for failure to keep in lane.

Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel are not concerned about the event, a source told PEOPLE, despite the flurry of excitement the arrest has created among the public and Timberlake’s fans.

“They have put the arrest behind them. The insider stated, “They continue to put work and family first and have faith in their legal team.” Timberlake and The Better Sister actress are parents to two children: Phineas, 4, and Silas, 9.
