4-star QB commit Tramell Jones Jr. puts recruiting hat on for highly-touted WR target

There are bound to be fireworks that will occur with the massive recruiting weekend since there are several of them that have crystal ball predictions in favor of the Seminoles. Florida State is ranked as the 70th-best recruiting class in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

The fan base is searching for the program to have success on the recruiting trail. It is easy to look at arch-rivals Florida and Miami and get discouraged because they are getting recruits and Florida State isn’t right now. especially considering that the Seminoles have recently been a far superior team.

It is imperative that Florida State retains their current roster in addition to adding prospects to their class. Recently, our very own Kelvin Hunt authored a piece in which he discussed his opinions regarding the circumstances surrounding four-star quarterback commit Tramell Jones Jr.

The fierce rival Florida Gators have been mentioned frequently in relation to the gifted signal-caller, as most people are aware. Jones Jr. hasn’t wavered from his commitment to the Seminoles, either. Despite the constantly shifting nature of recruiting, the Mandarin High School standout has remained faithful to the coaching staff.

Jones Jr. informed the reporters as he was leaving Tallahassee that he was still recruiting for the Seminoles and that the decision about his commitment will be made the following week.

The quarterback for his 7v7 team, South Florida Express, has participated in the Elite 11 Finals and performed like a superstar. Vernell “Trey” Brown III, a four-star wide receiver and his 7v7 partner, accompanied him to Tallahassee for the formal visit. Since his father was a player for the university in the early 2000s, Brown III has become increasingly associated with the Florida Gators.

That hasn’t prevented Jones Jr. from wearing his university recruiting cap, though. Envision the “Tramell to Vernell” relationship. Hopefully, the excitement over #VB3ToTally is genuine!
