The report states that Bentancur has emerged as a ‘surprise name’ on Galatasaray’s agenda for the summer window as the Turkish club look to bolster their midfield ahead of the new season.

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk is said to be keen on bringing the Tottenham man to the club but it is explained that the Istanbul club are aware that the operation would be quite difficult to pull off.

This update comes on the back of Bentancur receiving plenty of criticism for his distasteful joke on Son Heung-min.
