Kentucky recruiting target Jaxson Robinson also received an invite.

Four Kentucky players and one of the Wildcats’ top recruiting targets in the transfer portal have received invitations to the 2024 NBA Draft Combine, it was announced on Friday.

The 78 players invited to the 2024 NBA Draft Combine—which will be held May 12–19 at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago—included BYU guard Jackson Robinson and UK players Rob Dillingham, Justin Edwards, Antonio Reeves, and Reed Sheppard.

The best draft-eligible players will compete in scrimmages, physical measurements, interviews, drills, medical and athletic testing, and interviews during the invite-only, multi-day draft combine. NBA scouts and front office staff will be present to evaluate players individually in anticipation of the 2024 NBA Draft, which will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on June 26–27.

Since 2010, no school has produced more No. 1 overall picks (3), top-10 picks (15), lottery picks (23), first round picks (35) and total NBA Draft picks (47) than Kentucky. Since the NBA went to a two-round draft in 1989, the Wildcats now have the most players drafted overall with 63, 46 of which have come in the first round. UK has also had a player selected in the first round in 14 straight drafts, the greatest streak in the common era, and at least one player selected in 16 straight rounds, the longest ongoing streak of any school. In 14 straight drafts, the Cats have generated multiple draft selections.

Robinson, who spent the last two seasons playing for the Cougars under new Kentucky coach Mark Pope, said on April 23 that he would enter the transfer portal on April 27, just a few days before the deadline of May 1. Robinson also declared for the 2024 NBA Draft on April 23.

Robinson, who 247Sports has ranked as the No. 44 transfer, has until May 29 to declare for the draft. Most predict that he will be a marginal second-round choice..

As a senior last season, Robinson was named Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year after averaging a team-high 14.2 points while shooting 35.4% from 3-point range and 90.8% from the free throw line..

The 6-foot-7 guard scored a season-high 28 points in a win over Denver; 25 points on five made 3s in the Cougars’ NCAA Tournament loss to Duquesne, and had 18 points in an upset win at No. 7 Kansas.

Pope’s first 2024 transfer class at Kentucky consists of No. 21 Brandon Garrison (Oklahoma State), No. 28 Otega Oweh (Oklahoma), No. 45 Lamont Butler (San Diego State), No. 66 Andrew Carr (Wake Forest), No. 81 Amari Williams (Drexel), No. 104 Koby Brea (Dayton), and No. 118 Kerr Kriisa (West Virginia). The class is ranked fifth in the country by 247Sports.

There are currently nine scholarship players at Kentucky. Among the class of 2022 recruits are Kentucky Mr. Basketball, Travis Perry, a 4-star guard from state-champion Lyon County and the state’s all-time top scorer, and Collins Chandler, a 4-star prospect and former BYU signee who is returning from a two-year Mormon mission.
