Elijah Collins, a running back from Oklahoma State, is one of the players who the Bengals signed.
Aaron Wilson claims that one of Collins’ contracts contained a $8,000 signing bonus—a benefit that most undrafted free agents do not obtain.

A bonus means it’s possible that there were multiple teams looking to sign Collins, and this was the Bengals’ way to make sure he came to Cincinnati. It could be that they just like the potential his tape shows when it comes to blending in with the group of Bengals running backs that includes Chris Evans, Trayveon Williams, Zach Moss, and Chase Brown.
Collins attended Michigan State for four seasons before transferring to Oklahoma State for his final year of eligibility. During his time in college, he amassed 1,648 yards and 13 touchdowns via running. In 2019, he had his greatest season yet, rushing for 988 yards with five touchdowns and an average of 4.4 yards per carry.
On his pro day, he ran a 4.54 40-yard dash and is 6 feet 0 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. Power back him, if all goes well, he may be the one to finally take down Evans, who has only seen two carries in the previous two years.
