The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to look quite different in 2024, and coach Mike Tomlin certainly thinks a lot of the new faces they have brought in have something in common.
The Steelers have a new offensive coordinator in Arthur Smith and two new quarterbacks in Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Tomlin noted all three have seen their reputations diminished recently, as their former organizations gave up on them.
To be completely honest, all three of these guys are a little bit scalded. Professionally, they have something to prove,” Tomlin said to NFL Network’s Peter Schrager. But that’s how we all feel collectively. As we get ready for the 2024 season, I believe it is a good idea for both individuals and the group to approach the task at hand with a sense of purpose and determination. It’s obvious that Tomlin wants the squad to feel like they have a grudge. Tomlin will be commended for taking a chance on these individuals if the Steelers make a comeback.
