Suspended Tottenham Star set to Miss London Derby

With a lot on the line, Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs will “welcome” Mikel Arteta’s Gunners to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

If Tottenham wins at N17, it will increase their chances of placing in the top four of the Premier League and severely harm Arsenal’s prospects of winning the championship.

Nonetheless, given their current momentum, the Gunners will need to win in order to maintain pressure on Manchester City.

Given his strong record against Arsenal, Tottenham’s captain Son Heung-min will obviously need to be playing at his best on Sunday.

Son has faced the Gunners in 19 meetings throughout the years, tallying two assists and seven goals.

Postecoglou praised the £22 million man during his pre-match press conference on Friday.

The Spurs manager responded to a question about Son’s significance in derbies by saying, “Yeah look, vital because he has got the experience and at least two or three of our guys this will be their first experience of a home north London derby,” as reported by football.iondon.

You always turn to the men who have been there, done that, and done it better. Without a doubt, Sonny has done that.

He’s been a key player for this football team for a while, and he’s excited about the extra accountability that comes with being the captain this time around.

“He has performed admirably for us this year, and I know he is excited about the game.

To be fair, everyone on the playing team is excited about the match. Currently, they are eager for any match because we have only been practicing for the past two weeks.

“I am eager to observe how Sunday unfolds.”

It will be interesting to watch how Son performs in one of the most significant games the team has played in a long time because he has been a star for Tottenham over the past ten years.
