Lilywhite Rose shares ‘Disaster’ verdict at Tottenham amid Fabrizio Romano update

John Wenham believes Tottenham striker Alejo Veliz should be sent on loan to an English club next season after his disastrous time on loan with Sevilla.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose believes that the most important thing for Veliz next season is to play regularly after seeing his minutes limited with Sevilla during the second half of this season.

It follows an update from Felizio Romano via X on March 31, wherein he disclosed that the Spurs are getting ready to offer Veliz a fresh loan for the upcoming season, one in which he will be assured of playing time.

Furthermore, according to Wenham, who made this statement exclusively to Tottenham News, it doesn’t matter where Veliz travels as long as he stays in England.

Following the debacle of this loan at Sevilla, “any loan for Veliz needs to be based in England,” remarked Hamilton.

“I would send him to the Championship club if it was between a Premier League team and a team in the Championship where he would be playing on a regular basis.

He is still incredibly young, and while the striker hasn’t played much in Seville, he would have learnt a thing or two being exposed to life at a big La Liga side.

However, he cannot afford to spend another season sitting on the sidelines, and Spurs must ensure they pick the right club for the 20-year-old next season.

In other Tottenham news, Daniel Levy is ready to let one first-team player go for just £15million.
