Gallagher to Spurs?
Spurs are “still in hot pursuit,” according to Football Insider, meaning Chelsea “may be forced to sacrifice Gallagher to fund their transfer plans.”
According to rumors, manager Mauricio Pochettino is “well aware” that his team must allow player departures in order to finance their own operations, and Gallagher is highly rated on the team’s list of players who could be sold.
During the off-season, Todd Boehly’s team plans to sign players. As of April 8, they are reportedly considering a deal for Athletic Bilbao’s highly sought-after player, Nico Williams, according to Football Insider.
The transfer of Gallagher to Tottenham may be approved by Chelsea. He will enter the final year of his contract with the London giants at the start of the upcoming season, and sources have told Football Insider (9 March) that talks for a new deal have completely stopped.
This gives Chelsea hope to finalize a deal for the midfield player, who Tottenham is still considering, before he becomes a free agent.
