‘They’ll take it’: Tottenham would sell their ‘fantastic’ player for £60m now
Richarlison has started to find a bit of form for Tottenham lately.
The Brazilian has really stepped up over the last three months or so, and his goalscoring record is, slowly but surely, becoming respectable.
However, overall, you’d have to say that Richarlison’s time at Spurs has been a disappointment so far.
Aside from a recent purple patch, the attacker has been underwhelming in a Tottenham shirt, and there has been some speculation about his future.
Speaking on The Tottenham Way Podcast, Dan Kilpatrick has been discussing Richarlison’s future, and he says that he reckons Tottenham would sell the striker this summer if they were offered their money back after spending £60m on the forward.
Tottenham would take £60m for Richarlison
The journalist spoke about the ‘fantastic’ player’s future.
“It probably does depend on offers. If someone comes in and offers Spurs their money back this summer then I think they’ll take it, but I doubt they will get that offer,” Kilpatrick said.
Understandable
Richarlison has been playing brilliantly recently, but we can absolutely understand why Spurs may want to sell up if they receive an offer of £60m this summer.
Let’s be honest, Richarlison hasn’t really lived up to that pricetag so far in a Spurs shirt, and while things are looking up right now, Tottenham may still be best off taking the money if they are offered it.
Of course, whether or not Spurs receive such an offer remains to be seen. Richarlison hasn’t exactly put himself in the shop window over the past 18 months.
However, with links to Saudi Arabia persisting, perhaps this is a move that could happen this summer – it’s one to keep an eye on, that’s for sure.
