‘I saw him play…’: Tottenham prospect is being likened to Harry Kane and Julian Alvarez

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Jamie Donley is highly rated within the club.

The 19-year-old is expected to develop into a key first-team player in the coming seasons and Tottenham fans will hope that we can develop further and fulfil his tremendous potential with them.

Donley has not had ample first-team opportunities so far, but it is evident that Ange Postecoglou trusts him and He has already received many cameos from the Australian management. Journalist Jack Pitt-Brooke has since disclosed that the 19-year-old is well-liked inside the team and that, because to his playing style, he is compared to Julian Alvarez and Harry Kane. “I saw him play at the start of last season and my impression is that it’s not clear what position he will play when he grows up into senior football. He’s played up front a lot but he’s not a pure striker, he’s a nine and a half, some have compared him to Harry Kane, and someone I spoke to the other day compared him to Man City’s Julian Alvarez, a striker who also occupies many deeper positions.

With a bright future ahead of him, the young athlete is undoubtedly an exciting possibility. It will be interesting to watch if he can establish himself as a mainstay in the first squad in the upcoming seasons.

He may wind up saving Tottenham millions in the transfer market if he is able to reach his enormous potential there. Tottenham will be hoping that Donley can step up and fill the vacuum next season, since it is not surprising that they need to bring in attacking reinforcements at the end of the current campaign.
