‘Best decision I’ve ever made’: Five-star Ryan Williams reflects on Alabama recommitment

Bama247 caught up with Williams after he was named Alabama Mr. Football for the second consecutive year, becoming the first in award history to do so

With his commitment to Alabama just three days after his official visit, five-star receiver Ryan Williams (Saraland, AL) completely upended the recruiting landscape less than a week ago.

Williams created history after that by becoming the first player to win Alabama Mr. Football twice. The honor was given in Montgomery on Tuesday afternoon to the nation’s tenth-ranked player overall.

“It definitely means a lot,” Williams said after the getting the award. “It’s an honor and a privilege. I’m just very thankful that the AWSA decided to choose me for this prestigious award. I am very thankful for my family and teammates for continuing to push me. Even after this, they are going to continue to push me. And it definitely means a lot.”
