Report: Five-star WR Ryan Williams cancels official visit to Texas

The Alabama product just took trips to College Station, Baton Rouge, and Tuscaloosa with Auburn on tap before National Signing Day.

According to a report from On3, the nation’s No. 6 prospect, wide receiver Ryan Williams of Saraland, Alabama, canceled his planned official visit to the Forty Acres this weekend, eliminating the Texas Longhorns from consideration for the five-star prospect.

Williams reclassified from the 2025 recruiting class, and less than two weeks ago, before head coach Nick Saban retired, he decommitted from Alabama. Since then, he has made formal visits to Alabama, Texas A&M, and LSU. On February 3, he is still slated to visit Auburn.
