Tottenham have now received £21.5m bid for ‘fantastic’ first-teamer and it could get even bigger – journalist

Tottenham Hotspur have had an official bid from Saudi Arabia for defender Emerson Royal this weekend.

The Brazilian has been a key part of the first-team squad this season and has played in a number of positions for Ange Postecoglou so far.

However, reports earlier today have claimed that Royal is now a target for Saudi side Al-Nassr. It was suggested Tottenham had turned a bid down for the defender and further reports have suggested Royal is happy enough at Spurs as well.

And now, journalist Ben Jacobs has updated things a touch further, by claiming the bid that came in was around the £21.5m mark and that as of now, Al-Nassr could even come with a second bid.

Taking to X to share the update on Royal, Jacobs had the following information to give.

Spurs paid £26m themselves to bring the ‘fantastic‘ Royal to the club so any figure below that is likely to be deemed too low by the board.
