Tottenham have ‘slowed down a bit’ in signing race – Player willing to wait for Spurs until next summer

Earlier today, we relayed news from Italy that Genoa star Radu Drăgușin favours a move to Tottenham Hotspur over Napoli.
The 21-year-old has been the center of attention since Ange Postecoglou asked the North London team to sign a new center-back this month.
The Serie A winners are intrigued, but Tottenham is ahead in the transfer battle, according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno.
According to the tabloid, the Romanian international and his group are willing to wait until next summer to finalize a transfer and choose Spurs. Even yet, the Naples team won’t give up until Tottenham, Genoa, and the defense reach a consensus.
Tottenham and the Mattino state Genoa are unable to come to a deal over Drăgușin. Even if Napoli is aware that he would want to move to the Premier League, they nevertheless decide to compete.
Sport Mediaset repeats Il Mattino’s allegation and provides a brief update.
According to rumors, Tottenham has “slowed down a bit” in their pursuit of Drăgușin since Genoa has reportedly asked for €35 million.
The player is in favour of moving to England, but Spurs have the edge as long as they can work out a deal with Genoa to complete the transfer.
