INJURY UPDATE: 49ers faces another major set back

49ers injury report: Hargrave returns to practice ahead of Ravens clash

SANTA CLARA: Javon Hargrave, a defensive tackle, resumed practice on Friday after sitting out the 49ers’ Week 15 match because of a hamstring issue.

Following his absence from the team’s Sunday game against the Arizona Cardinals due to a hamstring issue, Hargrave participated in a limited amount of practice.

Jauan Jennings, a wide receiver, was hurt against the Cardinals and was unable to return to practice. Jennings is still following the NFL’s return-to-play guidelines.

As the 49ers get ready to play the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas night, Jennings, defensive tackle Arik Armstead (foot and knee), tight end Ross Dwelley (ankle), and linebacker Oren Burks (knee) did not practice.

This season, Jennings, the third-best receiver for the 49ers, has 19 receptions for 265 yards and one score.

Limited practice was held for Hargrave, defensive end Clelin Ferrell (ankle), backup offensive lineman Ben Bartch (finger), and running back Elijah Mitchell (knee).
