The Italian media is currently utterly enamored with Gianluca Scamacca. The 25-year-old is receiving recognition for his efforts at Atalanta after scoring goals recently, including two against Liverpool in the Europa League.
But things haven’t always been that way this season. Earlier in the campaign, the Italian media frequently voiced concerns about the transfer, the player’s style of play, and if it had been a wise decision to send €25 million to West Ham in the first place.
Currently, instead of contesting the deal, Gazzetta dello Sport are boasting about Atalanta’s success and how the Serie A team could easily turn a significant profit from what they gave Westham less than a year ago
The Italian tabloid states in its Friday edition that the striker is “progressing in his growth in a constant and impetuous manner” and that “now the price is at least €60m.”
His goals have demonstrated that Atalanta’s decision to acquire him from West Ham was a foresightful act of transfer genius. The richest player in terms of talent from the richest league in the world was taken away by the Goddess (Atalanta), according to Gazzetta.
According to reports, Scamacca has a contract worth €2.5 million a year (probably after taxes) through 2027. If he plays well for the Bergamo team again, his valuation might increase to €60 million.
Concerns raised earlier regarding his attitude are disregarded, as he has started a change both on and off the field. If there was ever a ring to the description of him as a “bad boy” until recently, that ring has long since vanished.
This is possibly one of those transactions when everyone has benefited. It’s obvious that West Ham wanted to leave London quickly because they returned a fair amount of money. The player was eager to make the transfer and has since profited despite some initial setbacks.

With David Moyes quite clearly now done at West Ham United, the big question is who will come in to replace him in the summer?
Last summer, West Ham manager David Moyes could have left the London Stadium with his head held high.
The Scot recently led us to our first major trophy in forty-three years, but he let his pride get in the way, and it’s obvious that the manager of the Hammers has now overstayed his welcome.
I don’t support the abuse he occasionally receives. Nor am I saying that he shouldn’t have anything but a fantastic farewell when we play Luton Town in our last Premier League home game of the year next month.
I simply feel that there has been a lot of opportunity lost to start this season. I believe that Moyes’s sour attitude toward the games and his extremely defensive footballing style are the key causes of that.
It’s time for West Ham to significantly improve the Scot. Additionally, it appears that Sullivan is eager to name a player who is well-known for using a very alluring playing style.

The Hammers are working hard to persuade Maurizio Sarri to take charge at the London Stadium this summer, according to a report from Lazio News 24.
Alessio Romagnoli and Matteo Guendouzi are the two players the 65-year-old former Chelsea manager is reportedly open to joining West Ham, and he has already made up his mind about joining the team should he take over.
During his tenure as manager, Sarri has introduced some incredibly entertaining football, and he would surely get a tune-up from the current Hammers squad.
Still, I don’t see him taking David Moyes’ place at West Ham. Either Julien Lopetegui or Paulo Fonseca will be an excellent manager, in my opinion.
