SIMON JORDAN GIVES ONE-WORD RESPONSE ON WHETHER TOTTENHAM WILL BEAT LIVERPOOL

Simon Jordan believes Ange Postecoglou will continue his promising start to life at Tottenham Hotspur with a statement Premier League victory over unbeaten Liverpool on Saturday evening.

Has there ever been a Premier League manager more likely to win over the notoriously vocal former Crystal Palace chairman? He is straight-talking and never afraid to speak his mind.

However, the increasingly well-liked Tottenham Hotspur manager threatens to make the London giants back into everyone’s favorite “second team,” and Simon Jordan is far from the only one under his sway.

Well, aside from those who support Arsenal, of course.

An impressive series of results are only adding to the feeling that Postecoglou – a league champion in Australia, Japan and Scotland – is bringing back some of the magic of the Mauricio Pochettino days, Spurs perhaps unfortunate to only draw at the Emirates a few weeks after outclassing Manchester United.

Ange Postecoglou impressing at Tottenham

“I make the case that Postecoglou (in a couple of seasons) will have established within what he expects of Tottenham,” Jordan says on talkSPORT (27 September, 12.30pm); the former Celtic manager is a welcome departure from the mental gymnastics and anguish of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

He was given a four-year contract, which differs from what Mourinho and Conte received from them. There, the fit is superior. A boss who is invested, more grown-up, more mature, and less egotistical may lead people ahead.

“So, I think there is a different dynamic. I don’t think Postecoglou has the charisma of Jurgen Klopp, but he has the earthiness. He has the relatability.”

Spurs face Liverpool in North London

This weekend, Tottenham will face one of the toughest early tests of the Postecoglou era. Liverpool under Klopp have won five of their first six Premier League games as they travel to the city.

However, when asked to predict the outcome of what has been dubbed as this season’s most fascinating matchup thus far, Jordan was ready to support the Aussie who threatens to unseat Kylie Minogue as the UK’s favorite.

Oh Ange, you just won’t leave our minds.

Jordan predicts Spurs will defeat Liverpool in his customary confident manner.
