‘Is this how you play football?’: Tottenham player gets blasted after what happened on loan this week
Tottenham Hotspur star Tanguy Ndombele has already found himself at the end of some serious criticism on loan at Galatasaray.
A little more than two weeks ago, the Frenchman, who was regarded as a superstar signing, came to Turkey on loan. But now, Batuhan Karadeniz is enraged by the manner in which he arrived for the Champions League match against FC Copenhagen.
Here are his comments regarding the midfielder.
Tottenham loanee Tanguy Ndombele gets criticised on loan at Galatasaray
At every team he has played for, including Tottenham, Tanguy Ndombele has never been the fittest player.
The Frenchman is a football player with extraordinary potential. He is capable of things that many others are not, but under the rigorous supervision of Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, he struggled.
Ndombele was given an opportunity by Ange Postecoglou in the summer, but he made the mistake of dismissing him too soon.
Ndombele went to Galatasaray on loan, and the initial reactions were excellent.
However, after seeing him play against Copenhagen, Karadeniz was enraged with the way he seemed after being introduced.
He said to Super Haber, as translated by Sportwitness: “Ndombele was in poorer condition yesterday’s game, but he was better ready when he came on last game.
“Brother, what did you do? Eaten any Istanbul? You will be given access to a dietician and a scale to assess your health. Do you play football this way?

Galatasaray lost 2-0 against Copenhagen at home in their season-opening Champions League match this week.
The Turks didn’t regain control of the match until the visitors had a player sent off. Late goals from Sacha Boey and Tete saved a 2-2 draw.
Ndombele barely entered the game for the final 14 minutes, and despite not making many errors, he didn’t appear to be the star player Galatasaray supporters had hoped to witness.
It will be intriguing to see whether Ndombele starts this weekend when Gala plays their city rivals Istanbul Basaksehir.
