‘Right at the top’: Ange Postecoglou shares what he ‘tells everyone’ about Celtic
Ange Postecoglou has shared that he ‘keeps saying to everyone’ that Celtic should be ‘top’ of the bucket list of clubs you want to be involved with.
The Greek-born Australian left Celtic this summer and joined Tottenham after the team won the Triple Crown in style, bringing in several top players along the way, including Kyogo Furuhashi, a goalscoring monster.
Rangers had recently won the Scottish Premiership under Steven Gerrard when Ange Postecoglou first joined the Glasgow giants, and both on and off the field, the Bhoys were in a complete disaster.
Postecoglou first required some time, but after he figured things out, it was all pure success on the home stage. He called it a “magical time” in an interview with talkSPORT on September 23 at 11:45 a.m.
Many people in the media, including Celtic supporters, asked “who is this guy?” when Celtic chose Postecoglou to succeed Neil Lennon.
The tone of those skeptics immediately changed, however, once Rangers’ 25-point winning margin from the previous season was eliminated. Postecoglou didn’t stop there, too, as he continued to push things forward last season, as evidenced by his message to the fans today.
For me, it was a fantastic time, Postecoglou remarked. “I used to run one of the most well-known football clubs in the world, and now I run one of the biggest.
“I am achieving my goal. two years I spent at Celtic. I don’t have to explain that to anyone. Mostly because of the supporters, that will stick with me forever. A truly amazing two years passed.
“I continue to tell everyone. Celtic will be at the top of your list if you have a bucket list of teams you want to play for.
