Harry Kane dishes on how Thomas Tuchel convinced him to join Bayern Munich

If Thomas Tuchel has accomplished anything noteworthy at Bayern Munich, it is assisting in Harry Kane’s acquisition.

Harry Kane has rarely discussed the part Thomas Tuchel played in facilitating his transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich in the numerous articles on how the deal came about.

Kane recently discussed the incident in an interview with Bild am Sonntag reporters Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl, which was recorded by @iMiaSanMia.

Thomas explained to me why he wanted me at Bayern first and wanted to get to know me. However, during the same discussion, he went into great depth about how he sees me playing and suggested that I play as a clearer No. 9 than I often do at Tottenham. I dropped deeper more frequently in my role there, which was slightly different, Kane said. “A team can attack swiftly when Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman, or Serge Gnabry are on the flanks; this enables me to take up position in the middle of the penalty area. I’m adaptable like that. Even though Tottenham and the England national team had different playing philosophies, I never found it to be an issue.

Kane has made a seamless transition to Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga style of football. Tuchel, no doubt, laid out something that intrigued Kane — and the striker has made good on all of the hype.

‘What is this’: Tottenham ‘superstar’ not impressed by what Pedro Porro has shared about him

Football players are now responding to their ratings in the new game EA SPORTS FC, and one Tottenham player is not pleased.

Tottenham didn’t have a terrific season the previous year, which undoubtedly affected some of the player ratings.

Every player in the popular football game has a rating between one and 99, and depending on that rating, players receive a bronze, silver, or gold card in the game mode Ultimate Team.

Bryan Gil, a player who was actually on loan in Spain last season, has expressed his displeasure with his ranking on social media.

Bryan Gil not happy with EASPORTS FC rating

The Spurs winger has had difficulty since joining the team. Since his arrival in 2021, Gil has been on loan twice, both to teams in La Liga.

The Spanish player responded to Pedro Porro’s Instagram story, which featured a card with his EASPORTS FC rating, on his Instagram story.

With a rating of 77, Gil only receives a gold card, which is hardly a rare card. Gil jokingly expressed his annoyance by asking, “What is this, please.”

Gil has played for Spurs in 31 games since arriving. Gil’s contribution to the club’s assault in terms of goals scored isn’t very impressive as he has only two assists and no goals to his name.

Meanwhile, manager Ange Postecoglou doesn’t look like he will be using him anytime soon as the player is yet to feature this season. The ‘little superstar‘ has potential but has not met it at the club yet.
